Landmädel QAL Block Nr. 8 und Kissen-Swap

Aylin hat den Block ausgesucht und beschrieben und damit ich erst gar nicht ins Hintertreffen gerate, habe ich ihn heute schon gleich genäht und zwar gleich zwei Mal. Aylins Block und dann der erste Block von Astrid in der Flickr-Gruppe haben mir beide gut gefallen, so dass ich beide Varianten gemacht habe. Sie waren durch ein Verändern der Farbgebung komplett verschieden geworden.

Aylin decided on the block in the German Farmer´s Wife Quilt Along and because I wanted to stay up to date I have sewn the block today twice. Twice because Aylin´s block and the block of Astrid in the flickr group were the same pattern but through changing the colors they were finally different. I could not decide which version I liked best so I decided to do them both.

Swappen auf Deutsch

Als nächstes steht das Kissen für das Swappen auf Deutsch an. Bis Ende Oktober muss es fertig sein. Ich probiere schon einmal fleißig herum und habe auch eine Farbanfrage in der Swappen auf Deutsch Flickr-Gruppe gestellt und jetzt kann es so langsam losgehen. Interessant ist wirklich, dass die Muster, die ich dort gezeigt habe den meisten zu rot ist, während alle "meine Leute", die es in echt gesehen haben, das nie geäußert haben. Aber es soll ja auch passen, zumindest für eine bestimmte Swapperin.
Hier zeige ich mal die Farbmuster:

My next project is a pillow for my partner in the Swappen auf Deutsch group. It has to be finished by the end of October. I am trying out different technics and I also asked about the color scheme on flickr and got an interesting reaction. Most of the swappers thought it to be too red. It is so interesting because all of my people around me who saw it in real never mentioned the too much of red. But since it has to fit the color scheme of my partner, I am working on it. And I try other piecing technics as well.

Nach dem "Zu-Rot-Alarm" der meisten Swapperinnen habe ich es mit weniger rot versucht und dabei kam das wonky Teil unten heraus. Gefällt mir gut und passt auch zu den anderen beiden.
