Triple Zip Pouches

Hier sind sie schließlich - meine Triple Zip Pouches für den Quilt Along von Quilters Table.

Ich wollte die Taschen passend sowohl für meine schwarze als auch die rote  Ledertasche haben. Sozusagen  für den fliegenden Wechsel beim Taschenwechsel. Und ich denke, ich kann sie problemlos beide von einer zur anderen Tasche wechseln.

Bisher konnte ich mich noch nicht entscheiden, welche der beiden ich besser finde, die elegante oder die eher sportliche. Meine Familie findet fast unisono die elegante besser.


Here they finally  are:  my Triple Zip Pouches for the Quilt Along of Quilter´s Table. 

I wanted  to have them for personal usage only and since I have black and red bags I made them in black and red. They came out totally different and I still have to make up my mind which one is my favorite: The more elegant or the "younger, sportive" one. My family voted unisonous for the elegant Juggling Summer pouch but there are some votes missing.

This is a jeans like fabric which I decorated with my circle sewer.

Die Reißverschlusswahl war nicht einfach. Erst dachte ich an ein helles oder ein dunkleres Rot. Aber dann habe ich mich doch für die schwarzen Zippers entschieden.

It was a difficult process to find the right zippers for the pouches:
In the beginning I thought about a bright red to have a contrast but I thought  it was too bright. So I took that red for the jeans pouch.

Then I took a darker red, but that made it too dark and sad. I decided to take the black zippers.

Hier im Rheinland sind wir ein wenig entsetzt über den Schnee an diesem Karnevalswochenende. Dieses Wochenende gehen hier in jedem Dorf die Umzüge und Schnee ist nicht nur kalt und nass für die Gruppen und Zuschauer, sondern macht natürlich auch die geworfenen Süssigkeiten nicht besser.

Here in the Rhineland we are a little upset about the snow which came down yesterday. This weekend we will have the Carnival parades in almost every town and village around here and snow is really bad for those who walk in the parades and also for the candies which are thrown to the children...
