Whirlpool war der 2. Block im Landmädel Quilt Along. Mir war schnell klar, dass ich nicht die Schablonen aus dem Buch benutzen wollte. Der Block besteht nur aus Half Square Trianges (HST) also brauchte ich Quadrate in der richtigen Größe. Vier in einer Reihe bedeutet ein HST-Quadrat muss 2 Inch Endgröße haben, um die 6,5 Inch Größe (inklusive Nahtzugabe) zu ergeben. Zugeschnitten habe ich Quadrate von 2,5 Inches. Das Zusammennähen war gruselig und einige Nähte habe ich wieder aufgetrennt. Aber hier ist das Ergebnis:

At least I know now how to handle blocks made of 4 x4 with HST but there are other blocks which look a lot more complicated.
