Freemotion Wholecloth Quilt

I did it again: I drove to Krefeld and visited a class at Claudia Pfeil´s APQS Open House.

I took the Freemotion Wholecloth class on the longarm. This means there are only few lines on the fabric and everything else is free hand. The thought is rather scary and of course it looks kind of crumbled if you look at it with a critical eye but overall it looks like a real wholecloth.

Now at home I have to fill in a few gaps. I have saved some areas where I will quilt with a light thread - I do not have the thread that we used at Claudia´s. Hopefully, this will not destroy the overall picture.

Es gibt noch viel zu tun...
There is still tons of work to do.

Bye und bis bald,

Martina

  2. Thank you. I am still struggling what to to with it. Take it as a huge pillow cover or as a wall hanging.
